Centre weighs building natural gas trading hub

India is exploring the creation of a natural gas trading hub to foster a competitive domestic market. The oil ministry recently met with industry executives, and a committee may soon be formed to launch a detailed plan. Similar to the US’s Henry Hub, India’s hub aims to facilitate physical and futures markets while promoting deregulation and infrastructure access.
